Our story

From family farm to international supplier

Zaad Farms grew out of three decades of farming in Egypt. What began as a farming business is today an integrated export operation: we plan crops around our customers’ programmes, pack in our own facilities and ship to importers, wholesalers and retail chains abroad.

Our name, Zaad, means provisions for the journey — a fitting name for produce that travels from Egyptian fields to tables around the world.

Where is Zaad Farms located?

Our base is in Badr, Beheira governorate, in the Nile Delta region of Egypt, with access to Alexandria and Damietta ports.

Are you a grower or a trader?

We are a grower, packer and exporter: we run our own farm operations, packing, refrigerated warehousing and processing lines, and manage export logistics and documents.

Which certificates do you hold?
